Primary requirement is the willingness to proclaim the readings at Mass. as well as special Parish Celebrations.  Must be registered with the Parish and confirmed.  Typically scheduled every other month.  Training is required.

Eucharistic ministers must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and be in good standing with the Church. They serve as ministers of the Eucharist at weekend Masses and assist at communion services.  Being worthy is less important than the desire to use this ministry as a way to become more worthy.  Training is required. 

Los ministros de la Eucaristía deben haber recibido el Sacramento de la Confirmación y estar en buenos términos con la Iglesia. Sirven como ministros de la Eucaristía en las Misas de fin de semana y ayudan en los servicios de comunión. Ser digno es menos importante que el deseo de usar este ministerio como una manera de ser más digno. Se requiere entrenamiento.

Servers have a very important role in Mass, since they serve Jesus through the celebrant Priest.  Children  may participate after they have received their First Holy Communion.  Training is required.
